Production Designer Mr. Ben
Introducing the wonderful Mr. Ben (Vicente Ben) for fashion, print, installation, short film and commercial work.
Originally from a tiny fisherman costal village located in Galicia, Mr Ben. studied in Media communication in Santiago de Compostela, before moving to Madrid for his final year. After a call from a design school in Madrid he completed his masters in Production Design. Mr. Ben promptly landed an internship in the art department of a TV drama, was offered a job just two weeks later and spent the next 4 years working in TV dramas and doing some small and more creative side projects. However, he wanted to spread his wings outside Madrid and the Spanish industry. London was calling....
After a move to the U.K, he design, interior and fashion projects developed in number and size, and now boasts an impressive collection of high end fashion, installation, set build and commercial work, peppered with some really interesting short films. His style is Spanish grandeur to Poundshop chic, demonstrating both a rich and pastel palate and tone.
Also worth mentioning his his Saudi Adventure. In 2017, due to his profile in Spain, experience in period drama and bi-lingual abilities, Mr. Ben was headhunted to join the art department of the 1st film ever produced and filmed in Saudi Arabia. Moving to Saudi for 3 months, he became the 1st ever art department buyer in Saudi History.
